"The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It's a choice you make-not just on your wedding day, but over and over again- and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife" -Barbara de Angelis
I was so thrilled! with this adorable little knitted bouquet. My own design, thank you very much! The wedding of a family friend was approaching and I am trying to be more involved and send gifts when appropriate because there are so many generous people that have always been giving to my children. It wasn't their first marriage and their home was pretty well established so what do you get a couple of grandparents who aren't in need of anything? Well, you make them something personal and/ or unique, that's what.

These round wash cloths caught my attention because they are not typical, but I could totally see them in a bathroom with some decorative soaps or in the kitchen to replace your old boring dish rag. Honestly, how much more personal can you get than washcloths with the newlyweds newly shared initials. These monogrammed washcloths were a trip to make, considering I've never done the double-knit thing before, or letters for that matter. I designed these particular rags myself after charting the letters on some simple notebook paper.
I wasn't sure how I wanted to present these 'fancy' rags, in a box, gift bag, roll and ribbon? I know how little ruffles can make lovely flowers and that brought to mind a man bringing his lady love a bundle of flowers wrapped in paper, like a cone.
To end my happy story, the bride and groom didn't get the awesome bundle until Easter. The wedding was Jan. 18th! Ha! So much for giving to the teenager to deliver.
