BUTTERFLY CREATIONS

The Butterfly is an amazing wonder of the Lords creation. Butterflies begin as their plain, ordinary catepillar selves and, using only what they have, create the always beautiful and always unique butterfly. This is the idea behind Butterfly Creations: Homemade Treasures. As a girl who has always been plain and ordinary, since my teens I have actively worked with 'what' I had to improve 'who' I am. As an adult with a constantly struggling budget, my mission is to provide exciting, fun memories for my kids to look back on when they have their own families, using the materials at hand to improve each birthday, holiday, and gift-worthy craft.

Proud mother of three amazing little men and partner to my handsome boyfriend and his beautiful teenage daughter, I know exactly where I'm supposed to be in my life. I care for my family and work on my Bachelors degree in Psychology online full-time, while substitute teaching part-time. In my spare time I work on the things I love 'almost' as much as my family.

The crafty gene has been handed down to all the women in my family, my grandmother, to my mother, to my sisters and me; each with our own specialty. Crafting for me is just another word for improving. I have many interests and hobbies including cross-stitch, plastic canvas, drawing, knitting, baking, cooking new recipes, organizing and many other DIY, recycle reuse repurpose-use what you have at home kind of projects, all of which improve the ordinary into the extraordinary.
