"If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life" - Oscar Wilde
Don't you just love the look of a lacy pattern that has that beauty because of your two hands? This particular scarf took longer than any other to make, mostly because it was put on hold until I could get more white from my moms stash, but it was also the longest scarf I've ever seen. Knitted in two sections, I finally learned the art of the kitchener stitch. Not so confusing when you get a few repeats in. I chose white because I wanted it to be optional whether it was worn to dress up or dress down.

This was the second gift I parted with last year when homemade gift giving became my annual mission. I would enjoy remaking this scarf a time or two, because of it's versatility to go from keeping someone wonderfully warm in a snowball fight to a winter wedding accessory.
