Asian inspired Fingerless mitts

My second venture out of socks and into mittens (fingerless, of course, not quite yet ready for fingers, 'scept the thumb there). These personally are my favorite!

There is so much detail smooshed onto one arm, they look expensive and yet the design was fantastically easy to pull off. The pattern allows for a little ventilation in case you like them for Spring chills, but still provide warmth enough for Winter weather (if you've got other plans for your fingerlings). I went for the long length, I suppose as compensation for the lack of finger coverage. Like I've said before, my very plainness provides me with an extreme interest in most things not the least bit plain.
